I'm just wondering if RCS works on macOS Sequoia and iPadOS 18 with messages forwarding, just like iMessage and normal SMS. If I'm sending a message on my mac or iPad at a contact that are RCS enabled on my phone, does it will still be an RCS conversation? Thanks.

It works just as expected, forwards to other devices properly and sends as RCS if the other devices show RCS in the input box

will it use RCS if you have a iPad on iPadOS 17 (my iPad Pro 10.5) assuming my iPhone Pro Max is on iOS 18 and RCS is toggled on???
No if your iPad is still on iPadOS 17 it will not send properly if you send messages on this device. At least for me, the other person couldn't listen to my audio messages if I send them while on a iPadOS 17 or an earlier version of macOS.

Normal texts worked though when my iPad was on 17 (the phone sent them as RCS).
