iPad Pro IS remote control through FaceTime available on iPadOS?

I know there’s an option to visualise, or even remotely control a Mac through a FaceTime call.

Is it possible to do so from an iPad? I need to set up a new Mac for an elderly family member, and this would be really useful.

Request or give remote control in a FaceTime call on iPad

During a FaceTime call on iPad, remotely control another person’s screen, or allow them to remotely control yours.

Another Mac or different software like Jump Desktop or Screens. If you don't have a keyboard and trackpad with the iPad it'll be nearly impossible to successfully control a Mac without extreme frustration.

No no, my iPad Pro is plugged to an external monitor with a trackpad, mouse and keyboard. But if FaceTime calls between iPad and Mac doesn’t support remote control, then I’ll have to look for another approach.
