Is Safari 4 Beta Compatible with OS X 10.5.7?

I have Safari 4 but I am worried if I download the new OS X update it won't work? Can someone tell me if I am worried over nothing?

It works. There is an update to 4 beta you can download after installing 10.5.7.

funny though, on mine Safari 4 pub beta seemed to work fine after 10.5.7 but then I applied the safari on software update anyway.
