Just curious. My MBP's screen takes about 5 seconds to warm up every time it comes from sleep or shutdown. Is this normal or do I have some setting set wrong. Hopefully this isn't normal because it really is annoying...

It happens with mine every now and again. it take about 15 seconds on my rev A iMac G5. i wouldnt worry about it. Try changing the daylight savings settings though see what happens

What do you mean by "warm up"?

Mine also takes a short moment before it reaches full brightness.

How does DST settings help the display? 😕

Is it something that Apple specifically engineered into their computers?
