The series 7 introduced a slightly larger screen. It would not be worthwhile if you already had a series 5 or 6 to upgrade. it might be worth it if you're buying new. Depends on whether the extra $100 is a concern or not. Functionally the 6 and 7 are nearly the same. You'll need to decide, yourself.

Absolutely no reason to get the S3 in 2021, let alone in 2022. Unless you’re a fan of thick bezels and prefer a smaller screen-to-body ration.

My S3 installs updates pretty quickly. Unless you're talking about the problem with the lower storage models?
I'm talking about the non-cellular GPS models; the ones advertised as $199. Those have less storage and it takes 2-3 hours to install an update.

As far as I can tell they don't sell the cellular models anymore.
