iPad Is smart cover covered if I bought AC+ for iPad

I bought an iPad Air 2 with apple care + and on the same order, I bought a smart cover.

I remember when I bought my MBA, I also bought a Airport Extreme and the guy at the store told me that the AC+ that i bought applied to both.

Is it the same thing with my iPAd? If my smart cover breaks or rips or gets damaged, could I get a new one in those 2 year??

I don't think so with Ipad cases but I can be wrong.

They will probably replace it if they stock them they are good with that.
