Look at the attachment. According to the chipset for my Optical Drive, the negotiated link speed is 1.5 Gigabit, as opposed to 3.0 Gigabit the HD bay is reporting. I plan on sticking a SATA II in the Optical Drive, would this matter? I assume this wouldn't affect performance, and the negotiated link speed would shoot up to 3.0 Gigabit once the SSD is installed.

Thanks. So a SATA II SSD like the Samsung 470 would not be report a negotiated link speed of 1.5 Gigabit if I were to install it in the Optical Bay?
