Hi everyone...

It took a couple of days for me to realize that my Tiger upgrade had knocked Lil' Snitch offline, which required an update. After the update it intercepted something called "Syndication Agent" during boots of both Safari and Mail. A search for this app turned up a .plist file but nothing more. I disabled it's ability to call out, but am wondering what exactly it might be..?

Thanks
-Mike

Do you have .mac? Sounds like it might be what .mac uses to check synchronisation of your Mail rules and Safari bookmarks? There was some talk of an odd process or two but can't recall its name.

Yes, I do have dot mac, maybe that's what it is. i think the pref file did say apple in the name. Guess I'll turn that one back on! Thanks.
