anyone know where to get this done for a reasonable price? I want to upgrade my HDD from 120 gigs to 250...

thanks

I agree with doing it yourself. I know a number of people who have used Tekserve for various things, and not many had anything good to say. They have a bad reputation from what I hear, and are overpriced.

there's a guy on craigslist who apparently does good work and charges much less - you might want to check him out.

Digital Society is cheaper. It's $120, and they finished mine in two hours.

It's always better to do it yourself, but if you don't want to, J&R (where I work) charges $75 for the installation.

mac tech in NYC

i'm a freelance tech in nyc with many years of experience and will happily beat tekserve and digital society's HD upgrade prices. so, if you don't want to do it yourself, give me a call: 646-515-1199. -joe :apple:

Someone refer this guy to a place instead of constantly bugging him to do it himself. What if he doesnt have the tools? Not everyone has a fine philips and torx screwdriver.
