Not just in pictures, but also in video quality.

Apart from that, any other benefits going for the Pro (main one I see is the RAM upgrade)?

Yes, the Main sensor on the Pro is the bigger Sony IMX903 (48MP, 1/1.28-inch, f/1.78).
The Base 17 is using a Sony IMX904 (48MP, 1/1.56-inch, f/1.6).
