I order some accessories from apple online store, but when I check the order status, it says a technical difficulty prevented us from processing your order.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

What can be the cause?
 
Works fine from here. Try resetting your browser, clearing cookies and cache.
 
When I tried to check the status of a single order, I got this message:

"Thank you for shopping at the Apple Online Store

Apple's Online and phone Order Status services are temporarily unavailable due to a scheduled upgrade to our systems.

We apologize for any inconvenience."

(I'm a UK user, perhaps it is specific to this country.)
 
Looks like they are delaying all European orders until this is fixed. All shipping estimates now say 2 business days.
 
When I viewed the order status on the US store, it said expected delivery is 27 Dec 2011...err, could that be related to it Sartre, do you think?
 
Possibly, but when I check my order status on the US store it says delivery 20 September.

US Store shows my order will be delivered tomorrow.
 
When did you order? My order was done yesterday (5th) in the early afternoon, and says so on the US order status page.

"Processing Items Ships: 27 Dec, 2011 Delivers 29 Dec, 2011"

Me too, all the refurbs have been down for 2 days also and a return I had processed yesterday hasn't filtered down to TNT yet.

I'm in Germany and I'm getting the same message.
 
Glad to know it's not just me getting this.

I ordered on Friday 2nd Sep and haven't been able to access my order status on the UK store since Sunday.

Just checked my order status on the US store, and it says Delivers 9th Sep, but they haven't even begun processing it yet.

Anyone have any updates with theirs?

Indeed. If I go to store.apple.com/us instead of store.apple.com/de I can check my order status there. Says 1-2 weeks. I ordered a keyboard and twelve south item that wasn't readily available.

So i am not the only one :) I was really worried that it's a problem on my side.

Btw I just got an email from apple saying the order is being processed.
 
Just checked and I've also got the email, still says shipping on the 27th Dec though.

Edit: Just rang up, it's being delayed because of the printer (HP Officejet 4500), they've put in a request for the items to be sent out separately. However, I think I'm going to cancel the order and get the next printer up which is only £10 more, checked in the Apple Store, the 4500 does have an expected delivery of 2-3 months, whereas the 5510 is 2-3 days.

By the way, order status is back online for us in Europe.
