I'm trying to get onto it (tried both Safari and Firefox), but the page won't load up at all. Is it just me? I tried several other webpages and they all loaded.

Argh! I'm in California, no idea why it won't load. Maybe I need to clear my cache or something.

Nope, not workin' here. (Orlando, FL)

Safari can’t open the page.
Safari can’t open the page “http://www.apple.com/”. The error was: “lost network connection” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1005) Please choose Report Bug to Apple from the Safari menu, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message.

Apple.com working for me.. LA, CA It was probably just doing some spring cleaning.. Good good now

Yeah, it's working for me now. 🙄

I guess this thread can be locked or wastelanded, if someone feels like doing that.

No it is actually still very slow for me.. the entire apple website

And the rest of the net runs fine

EDIT: Scratch the store runs fine but the Apple website is self.. a little slow
