Is the Apple TV available in retail stores on Friday in UK?

Other than Apple Stores does anyone know if John Lewis, Currys etc will have stock in from today? Thanks

Turned up at 9:30, none in stock but expected within the hour. Went back at 10:30, still no stock and now no idea when they will be in...

Used to live in Basingstoke but moved to Andover :)
Shame they aren't in stock, I have an hour to kill in Basingstoke at 18:00....
 
Got mine in Braehead earlier, they didn't have any on display but on asking went round back and got me one
 
I went to Basingstoke this morning (11:40AM) as well , I got told that they have them in stock , but they are not the shelves yet so they couldn't sell me one , the rep told me that they will be on the shelf at 1PM , needless to say I wasn't going to hang around. :O

Totally disappointed with the Basingstoke Store , my usual Apple store is Southampton , but I was enroute to collect something in Basingstoke so I though I swing by the Festive Place ... not going there for a while.

I can confirm I picked up my 64gb Apple TV this morning from brighton store had lots of stock , been looking forward to this , as a big apple fan since the early 90s . Anyone know if vlc app is up yet ? Not set mine up yet .

Try brighton all on shelves have a day out as well :)

What's everyone think of the 200 mb app size ? I guess we could still get amazing games via internet if the server does most of the processing abd internet is fast enough ?
 
Basingstoke store now has them on display. Picked up a 32GB device and a Nimbus controller.
 
FYI : there is so far one app that allows you to connect to a media server works perfectly ish slight problem if more than 10 files in folder with regard to format of name file but hey it's a start
