All intel CPU's used in mac's from the core 2 duo going forward are 64-bit. Why do you ask?

Edit: GGJstudios your link is dead.

It is not dead. This is a problem with Apple's website that has been around for about 3 months now. Just hit Command+R (Refresh) a couple of times and it will load without incident. (This tip holds for all of the Apple web links that don't load the first time).

Gotta learn to type faster so everyone doesn't always beat me to the draw.

Thanx for your response. I would have responded earlier but I'd lost my network connection.

I'm thinking of buying one for video editing. (I already have a 64-bit Sager NP 9280)

Glad to help!

:)

As Snaky69 said, the last 32 bit processor Apple used in Macbook Pros was the Core Duo - everything from Core 2 Duo forward has been full 64 bit.
