I have a Gold Aluminum Series 4 watch and I'm really considering it.

Totally personal decision. There are cheap knock-offs at amazon. (I got the silver Milanese version watch and gotta say I LOVE the band! It's so pretty and looks AWESOME with my sparkly tennis bracelet!)

    It depends.

I bought the gold Milanese band version of the watch so mine came with it.

I figured it is best to get the watch with the best matching band.

However the gold from 3rd party companies are not the same shade.

You will have to wait to find a good one.

A few years back I purchased a knock off Milanese band that had good reviews from Amazon. It looked amazing for the 3 hours that it lasted before the ends came loose from the band. If you like the look go for it. IMHO just go all in. You're worth it :)

I got the steel Milanese loop from my previous watch. I think it’s a good band but not for everyday. It’s good for wearing to an event or if you’re dressing up a bit. I’ll buy the gold one when they’re available too.

I love mine - though I wear the watch to work everyday and it is a more 'formal' look IMO.

I was lucky and was able to get one today at the Apple store even though it wasn’t available for in store pick up on the app and it’s backordered to November.

I love the look of it! But yes this will be a semi formal band. Definitely not for workouts and jogs and daily use. It’ll go nice with some nicer outfits and business meetings.

Just remember that the S2 gold aluminum vs stainless are different shades of Apple gold. That said, I saw the SS in person and it is beautiful.

The aluminum and stainless steel golds are different shades - I’d see if you can try it in store to make sure you like the color match.

I just got it in SF but would rather just use my old leather loop. If anyone in SF wants it at cost, PM me!

The gold Milanese Loop is a must for formal wear. It 100% matches the watch and it should.

Stainless Steel I agree but I dunno if it matches the Aluminium Gold....
