Are you referring to the new 2013 Haswell MacBook Pro or the 2012 model with HD Graphics 4000?

For Haswell, the 2.4 GHz i5 has a GPU clock speed of 1000 MHz. However, the 2.6 GHz i5 and the 2.8 GHz i7 have a higher GPU clock speed, both at 1100 MHz.

In daily use, the performance is indiscernible. You will not be able to notice it, as it is only 5-10% gain in actual performance. And if you use a MacBook to game...

Well, I´d also like to know more about that difference of i7 vs. i5 in the 13inch rMBP (late 2013). Some real life examples or tests.

By the way: the Iris in the i7 and i5 2.6 go up to 1200Mhz, while the i5 2.4 is limited to 1100Mhz (not 1100Mhz and 1000Mhz), respectively.

The difference between the i7 and the i5 2.6 is the size of the L3 cache (4 vs. 3).
