HomePod Is the HomePod Mini worth it?

I can only afford (1) HomePod. I dont have apple music but do listen to podcasts often, watch movies and so on. Is it worth it? Is the audio that much better than my Mac or TV speakers?

Yes it is much better. To put it this way, I never use my TV speakers when watching TV. All my TVs have, at minimum, a stereo pair of HomePod Minis. Surprisingly good in such a small package.

If you plan on using it for Siri or HomeKit, turn away and never look back lol.
