So, those who have their X in hand, are you still super excited? Or has it already passed and you're waiting on the NEXT be thing from Apple?

At its heart it’s an iPhone so it never got me super excited. Do I regard it as a good purchase? Yes, no regrets. Enjoy the slight extra width - easier to type. Enjoy the longer screen - less scrolling. Love the Qi charging. Haven’t activated Face ID yet so can’t speak to that but even with pw opening it’s fine w/o home button.I haven’t tested the camera either but will today. I don’t think it will disappoint.

I will say the combination of Fade ID and gestures do seem more like the future of the iPhone than the tapping and home button.

Apple is on to something.

The excitement is still remains for me, only because the X is different. The new gestures are old now, but I’m eager to take advantage of the new the features

What more could Apple do? Is the Galaxy S8 taller the the X ?

I mean given all the changes that Apple implemented for the iPhone X currently, I feel they have introduced a lot with his new iPhone in the sense of the OLED display, smaller form factor, Face ID, augmented reality is in its infancy, wireless charging, etc. Next year I expect improvements with Face ID and Augmented reality to continue to develop.

Super exciting when I opened it last night, couldn't sleep until 3am, playing around with the phone.

Woke up the next day to find the phone laying on the floor (put it under the corner of my pillow), and the novelty wore off. Just another phone, another hype for next year.
