Is the image stabilization this good on iPhone X?

I didn't think they upgraded that much but if they upgraded both cameras on rear for this. It may be worth upgrading

Look at video at beginning between iphone8 and iPhone x I had to make sure if wasn't on a gimbal

Yes, the optical stabilization is very good on my iPhone X - both in 1x and 2x mode, I tried it today with videos and photos.

I never had a plus phone before, though, so this is my first experience with optical stabilization on an iPhone, but I am VERY impressed.

It did flake up on me once, though... in 2x mode the whole picture was shaking (the stabilizer was making it worse), but once I killed the camera app it worked fine again. I don’t know what happened, but I hope it was a random fluke... if it happens again I might have to see if I need to exchange it for another iPhone X.
