iPad Is the iPad 2 powerfull enough for iOS 8?

My daughter uses my old iPad 2. It runs well with iOS 7. Is it powerful enough for iOS 8?

Honestly it's not powerful enough. If I could go back to iOS7 I would. Save yourself the frustration.

The rule is if it runs well leave it alone. You've already done too much by updating it.

7.1.2 runs very well however I will not push my luck and will follow your advices. I will not upgrade to 8.1

The iPad 2 SHOULD be powerful enough, but iOS 8 is very buggy and bloated even on the latest hardware.

I went to iOS8 on my iPad 2 before they stopped signing iOS7. I used it for a day, and then went back to iOS7. Too choppy and laggy for me.

From everyone complaining, it doesn't sound like it does. Mine is staying on 7.1.2...
