Hi guys,
I just wondered because I am thinking about getting one of the new Retina iPad Mini's for Christmas. Is it worth an upgrade over the iPad 2?
Thanks :)

If you don't think the mini is to small for you then it is of course a worthy update.

A5 vs A7 processor in the new mini and you get the retina display.

I also got the non retina mini after my iPad 2 but after about a half year the screen appeared just to small for me, so i upgraged to the iPad 4.

The mini is a nice device but you need to considere that there is only a price difference of about 100$ for the Air.

Neglecting the obvious such as the A7 (+M7), size (if that's your preference), and retina display... it also has MIMO (for faster Wi-Fi), much better cameras, Bluetooth 4.0, Siri, and support for a slew of new cellular bands (if you're at all interested in the cellular version).

Also, you may find this page useful: http://store.apple.com/us/ipad/compare
