The new iPad.
The official name of so called iPad 3 is "The New Ipad". you can see it on apple's official website.
iPad 1 (Or Original iPad)
It's called just iPad. If you want to talk about the ipad "3", then call it the iPad 2012 or the iPad 3RD generation.
No. Apple's website calls in "The new iPad" with a small 'n'. That's a description rather than a title. The official name is "iPad" or "iPad 3rd Generation".

No, it isn't - it is officially "iPad". People / the Apple refurb site have only begun calling it that in certain situations to differentiate it from the other models.

It probably has some wierd part number.
People generally call it Ipad3
If you are talking to a salesperson, it could be....
If you are talking to a techie, it could be....
If talking to a friend, it could be....

The official product name to the public is now just iPad. Just like iPod Touch, iMac, Macbook, iPod Nano, iPod Classic, Apple TV and most likely soon to be (Octoberish) iPhone.
