The most disappointing apple product in years. Data is lost in the migration. Every Bluetooth device is wedged. Apple watch is now cooked and shows twice on my phone. Can’t unlock with a mask. did they even test this?

You actually thought this phone would unlock with a mask on?!

It is an “S” update. Usually this means nothing ground breaking and just perfecting the previous year. The 13 did this perfectly. Consider it the 12 S.

The days of huge innovation year after year are over.

Sounds like you've had a bad experience - maybe try a fresh install and see how things go?

For what it’s worth, everything you’re describing is a software problem and has nothing to do with the iPhone itself. Additionally, with the exception of the mask unlock, I don’t think any of those problems are very widespread. Clearly you had a lot of issues and I don’t mean to minimize that, but none of those issues are iPhone 13 problems, nor are they reflective of the experience that most people have had.

I've had zero problems.

I upgraded from an 11 Pro Max. Did the phone to phone transfer. Everything transferred without a problem. I’m loving my new 13 Pro Max.
Same here. The phone-to-phone transfer option that Apple has is top notch 👌🏻

Apple doesn't make half baked products. They make some way way over baked products, but nothing half baked.

I'll give it to the iPhone 12's with its smaller batteries, lack of 120hz, and bad close up auto focus. 13 was what we wanted!

Why are you whining and complaining about your own decision? Seems to me you would have been more happy getting a Samsung, why didn't you? All the information is out there for you to make an informed and educated choice. But you chose to come here and complain about your own choice. I could never understand why some make half-baked choices

I only faced the problem of the Apple Watch not unlocking my iphone, and that was solved by resetting my device and restoring from iCloud. Otherwise, everything else went smoothly.

Seamless transfer from iPhone 11 Pro to iPhone 13 Pro. No data loss. Everything works perfectly.

Sounds like user error. No problems here.

I used the iPhone to iPhone transfer. Not a single problem so far. If you initially setup your new iPhone without doing a software update first, maybe that contributed to the issues you encountered. I was quite impressed with how smoothly the iPhone to iPhone transfer worked for me. I ordered a SIM card free version and the iPhone to iPhone transfer even configured the eSim for me. When all was said and done I was up and running pretty quickly.

It is a shame that you encountered the issues you did and that will certainly spoil the user experience. But I see no evidence of what you claim the iPhone 13 to be.

If you’re talking about issues l, I’ve had no issues with mine…but if you’re talking about if this is a big upgrade from the 12 pro than it’s def not imo, it’s a solid upgrade to someone who had an IP10 or lower.

Feel for you OP. It’s frustrating when thing go haywire and you’ve done seemingly nothing wrong. That’s tech though and it also seems like software. The watch issue is a definite bug it seems and should be fixed. The other issues may be fixed with a clean install. If you use icloud and 2FA then you can easily clean install. I recommend it although I know it’s not a perfect solution for everybody.
I’ve seen others complain of screen brightness issues and a gap above the front speaker. Not sure how prevalent they are though.
