I have an iPhone 6s and recently was given an iPhone 6s plus through work. I really love the larger screen for consuming content, but I've realized I prefer my 6s, as it's much easier to use with one hand while I'm out and about.

Assuming the leaks are correct and we're essentially getting an almost plus sized screen in a form factor similar to an iPhone 6s/7, do you think people will find the screen too large to use with one hand? Maybe the significant reduction in bezel real estate will make one handed use easier?

The size of the display makes one-handed operation without reachability, impossible, without allowing the device to slide down your hand when trying to touch the top. The thing is, people don't mind using two hands I don't think.

Smaller than my Plus and the screen is almost as large. Perfect. Normally use two hands anyway. Bring it on...

I've used my Note 3 and 6s Plus one-handed with no issues. That how I normally use it, like now while brushing my teeth. I'd take an iPhone in the Plus size with as large a screen as they could jam in it.

No not at all. In fact I would like to have even larger than 5.8 options. I consume 90% of the media content on my phone, bigger is always welcomed.

You're clearly not following any leaks. The iphone 8 size will be very close the the 4.7" model. Only a tad bit bigger.

Sure it will look cool to have mostly an all screen device but wouldn't it be bothersome when your hands or fingers are constantly blocking some part of the screen?

I mean I kind of like the big chins on my iPhone 7. It gives me something to hold on to and I'm mostly covering them up in landscape mode when playing a game or watching a movie so I essentially already have an all screen front on my device!

The bigger the better. I'm on my phone more than anything else, and I miss the real estate of my Note 3.

Wish Apple would come out with a phablet but I won't hold my breath.

Ha! No.

My S8+ has a 6.2" display and doesn't feel unwieldily at all.

Bigger displays good. Small displays = 2007

Looking forward to Apple's jump up in display size.

Just because you can HOLD the phone in one hand doesn't mean you can USE the phone with one hand, it will be an impossible stretch to hit everywhere on the screen with just your thumb unless you have giant hands.

My hands are large but not uncommonly large and I can use my 7+ with one hand and do it all the time. Just double touch the home button and the top of the screen drops down for access.

People with small hand I gues should stick to smalller phones. But I want large and the 8 will be even easier to use.

I am actually thinking the bezel-less design might even make the phone even harder to use with just one hand. You are trying to hold onto the phone and pressing the icons with your thumb, there is more chance of your other fingers accidentally pressing on the icons on the larger screen since the screen is extended to the edge of the phone.

For basic scrolling and opening applications just for the sense of viewing, I can do that one handed with my iPhone 7 Plus. But if I'm typing, then I migrate to two handed use. But reachability makes a huge difference with the iPhone 7 Plus and I use it all the time.

I'm sorry you have tiny hands.
