I’m sure the speed differences will not be noticeable. And the camera it’s jus software. I’m sure you’d be able to do the apature change on the iPhone X as well but apple does not do it

If You have a 2017 iPhone X, it will be compatible with the 2018 5.8 X. Don’t believe the specifications have changed that much of a differential where would it affect cases.
