Is the iPod Touch in Apple stores yet? Has anyone seen one in the flesh?

I don't think that there are any in stores, but if you want to see one just look at the iPhone and ignore the camera and the phone and you have an iPod touch.

No, Steve clearly said it would be shipping later this month. The online store says Sept 28th and we've been told to expect constrained shipping until christmas.

Not until the 28th are they even shipping, supposedly--but the week before may be stocking the stores with them? Check back in a couple weeks. 🙂

Also, I'd want to see one in the flesh too. It's significantly different, hardware-wise, such that using the iPhone (again) won't really help me decide if I love it or not... screen bezel, case bezel, thickness, stainless steel back casing, headphone port, etc. I want to check these things out.
