Is the Lifeproof Nuud the best waterproof case?

The reviews are all over the place. I currently have one for my 6S and it worked fine all last summer, but I lost the headphone jack cap and I'm looking to replace it but there are some really bad reviews on some sites. I love the idea of having full touch screen sensitivity but I definitely don't want to risk damaging my phone.

Also, have they fixed whatever flaws there were w the newer series, like if I bought one for a 7 would it be fine and would it fit my 6S? Thanks!

I don’t think the 6s case would fit an iPhone 7. The camera bumps are too different. If your worried the case might not keep your phone protected then you are thinking clearly. It’s not a bad idea to get a waterproof case for accidental drops in water but I wouldn’t want to bet my expensive iPhone on a case that will most likely fail at some point. Just my 2 cents.

Good point, I am mostly buying this so I can use my phone while kayaking and to play music through my waterproof Bluetooth speaker. Is there a waterproof case that is the least likely to fail? Also, would a case made for a 7 fit the 6S or camera bump issue still present? I read the phones are the exact same dimensions.

I've had both Lifeproof and Catalyst and for me Catalyst is much better. The mute switch dial is way better than Lifeproof's switch and I also prefer the charge port cover on the Catalyst--I was always wary of breaking the Lifeproof cover.

It's the best waterproof case I've used. The 7 case won't fit a 6S. The catalyst website has a separate case for each.
