There is a way to upload files via FTP? That would solve my problem as I've never been able to upload anything other than very small files to the garden on the web form. It always times out. FTP would be much better.

Of course, options like Hotline, Wired and KDX are available as well, I put a link in this thread

Unfortunately not many come asking for other means of submitting files when one protocol in particular doesn't work for them, we're more than happy to assist with finding a solution that does work. Neither of us bite 😉
 
There's a huge ethical difference with Macintosh Repository - they employ an expansionist model to earn money and become the definitive Mac archive by leeching all the hard work the garden community does - plus macintoshgarden isn't just an archive, they provide free web and image hosting, messaging/email servers for old systems and soon a working iTunes radio server...and probably other stuff I've missed.

I expect the MacRep to run into troubles after some times anyways.
It sometime appear top of the list in goooogle search for old Mac softwares,
maybe due to the adds, and they don't take the same cares as the Garden about how old sofwares should be posted. And again due to adds, they can't go "stealth" in search engines...
