I noticed that the past MacWorlds are on the Apple Quicktime QTV website, and I was wondering if anyone has a link. I tried playing around with the website address ( . . . . /mybos97, etc.) but to no avail. It's the (in)famous keynote address with Bill Gates. Much appreciated.

BTW, if anyone has a video of the 2001 SF MW and can send it to me, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

sorry I can only find 2002
I wonder if they will even stream it any more

I don't think Boston keynote was ever available online...

but this guy.... http://www.wired.com/news/mac/0,2125,49679,00.html

probably has it...

Barcroft has spent the last decade videotaping almost every keynote speech, press conference and booth presentation given at Macworld.

For 11 years, Barcroft has crisscrossed the country in his custom-fitted RV, attending Macworld conferences on both coasts and perhaps hundreds of other Mac and multimedia-related trade shows in between.

a) That's pretty sad. No. Very sad.

b) How did he earn money? Did he sell the tapes or something?

I guess the only way it wouldn't be sad is if that was his job. And he'd be making money, too.

I jusr re read the article... he says he never got paid. Damn that's sad! :(
