Wasn't at the store when I went. They didn't know when they would get them in.

Called the Apple store, " do you have the air in stock? Yes we do". Drove three hours and they did have it in stock....the old one:eek:

This happened when I wanted the HDD model in 2008. I must have driven to the store a half dozen times only to find the old model HDD one and the new SSD model. If you recall there was a huge delay in getting the HDD models out the door. Despite my calling, I always got a rep who said yes and was wrong. I guess they figured I'd eventually break down and buy the SSD model.

Available today is likely only online and I would not guess that many stores will have them today or even tomorrow unless you're near a flagship store. I believe Southpoint Durham NC is one, 5th AVE of course, etc.

Just stop by this weekend. They should have it by this weekend. Apple will immediately put those in display.

No, they'll probably get them this weekend. That's what the store at Cambridgeside Galleria said.

When I asked the salesperson if they had the new models in stock, he was like, "dude, they just came out an hour ago!"

None in Toronto, Canada. My guess is we'll have some on Saturday or Monday since we're so close the the US.

I see a couple of unboxing videos of the 11.6", already up on youtube.

Both of them end without finding the new O/S restoration stick, which must be underneath the cardboard insert. The size of a hand on the 11.6" case, is shocking to see. A giant hand.... no.... it's the case that's so small. (And since 11.6" is an established screen size, there are lots of shoulder bags for this, already on the market. Unless the thinness will make the fit loose, in the that direction!

i think all the unboxing videos so far are from journalists/review websites. the usb is found underneath the first set of documents.
