Sorry if this has been covered but it seems strange that this is the only prior year phone to not be listed with its new price in the announcement?

are they just going to sell remaining stock at full price and hope they all sell at the same price as the new phone?

Sort of weird that the original iPhone X isnt even listed on the website..

I doubt they will be listed when the site goes back up. The new one will be there instead.

It's being discontinued and it is not available in the (online) Apple Store anymore. Likely will still be for sale at brick and mortar Apple Stores at a slight discount until they have iPhone Xs on display on Sept. 21 (I think that was the date anyway)? Carriers will probably have stock for a bit longer and will also sell at a bit of a discount.

This Friday isn't it? Well that's the pre order date. Can't remember the last time I went to an :apple: Store. Online is the future.

😱 What happens if I need mine replacing via Apple Care?!?!?!
Apple keeps a certain amount of stock for precisely that scenario. In the rare case where they don't have stock of a particular model for AppleCare replacements they'll just upgrade you to the next model.
