Yesterday my Magsafe connector started to wear out. In the part where the cable and the magnetic white plastic square join together, now I can see the cables (metallic) inside. Is this covered by my Applecare extended 3 year service?
My Magsafe powerbrick is in perfect condittion, I think is just a dessign issue.

yes it is covered. Take it in immediately and do not use it until it has been replaced, some of the connectors have been known to fray like this and then start to burn. So take it in to be replaced as soon as possible.

I'll do it on monday.
Yea it always seemed to have melted there. Is a week 7 this MBP (Core Duo), I have a spare Power adapter, and the plastic is better quality.
