Is the rose gold iPhone the same colour as the rose gold watch?

As the title says, is the rose gold iPhone the same colour as the rose gold Apple Watch? My wife has the rose gold watch at the moment and likes the colour but the iPhone looks 'pinker' in the photos online.

OP, they are the same. Source: I have the gold S3 watch and have directly compared it in person to the new iPhone 8 Gold in stores.
