When I touch the touchbar it shows the slider on the screen and works almost like force touch does now?

Mine does not do that. Looks like some kind of setting might be enabled to show that? When I use Duet and have the iPad connected as an external monitor it can display on there if I use it.
 
It's strange my wifes does not do that I got hers a few weeks ago. I just got this BTO yesterday and it has 10.12.2 installed from factory
 
That's what I thought. Couldn't find it. Do you know

So you can touch it on the screen and it works by sliding or its just visibly on the screen?
 
Ah ok I sent mine back already so I didn't even know this was in settings.
