Is the Touchbar useful with Logic X?

There were some interesting new Macbook Pros released yesterday. Ideally I want TouchId without TouchBar but that is never going to happen so I am debating whether it is worth upgrading to a machine with a TouchBar I am not convinced about.

If you are a Logic user is the TouchBar somehing you find useful? Have you grown to use it more over time?

It's.... okay. There are some things it adds which can be genuinely useful but truth be told there's not a whole lot the touch bar does that can't be done with keyboard shortcuts.

With that said, it doesn't really bother me. The only real change I made was to rebind caps lock to escape.

If you are portable, have an idea, and don't have your gear, it is GREAT for the keyboard and faders.
