Cause if it is then why did they charge me $1 with a description that contains the words netflix AND apple store.

My creditcard company just called me about a transaction that happend yesterday and they think my creditcard has been compromised. I told them that I didn't know anything about the amount that was charged but that I did make a transaction with the apple store for $0.00. But now my creditcard is automatically blocked. Can I trust apple.com?

First they didn't recognize my serial number for the up-to-date program. I had to wait like a day before it was recognized but meanwhile I wasted hours trying to contact them. And now they are doing this to me. I don't get it. why?

Anyway I got lion os x for free and my creditcard company said they would give me a refund for that $1. So its all good.

Your credit card company rang you about a $1 charge with a transaction description of Apple? Seems odd

And yes its free, went through with no problems for me

Well thats a tactic hackers use. They try to see if they can get away $1 and if they can then the next step is to empty your bankaccount. They are cautious for sites like apple and paypal. Thats what the dude told me.

Did you check if apple charged you with $1? Btw I don't believe I have been compromised cause the timing was correct and the description kind of but I am just wondering why they would charge me for 1 dollar and I didn't have anything to do with netflix.

That would make sense, now I know look to look out for them $1 charges :p

And yea I was definitely not charged anything, however you are making me second guess myself now :)
