Is the UX on the iPhone 15 any better than earlier iPhones?

When down the line did iPhones start to get better in terms of UX. Because I read articles made in c.2020 that discuss trouble people have when using iPhones

No issues for me, but I’ve been using iOS since around ‘08. If you’ve never used it it’s probably quite confusing. Showing any older person how to use the on screen bar thing versus a home button is like defusing a bomb
