iPhone X Is the Xs the same form factor as the X?

I’m going from an iP7 to an iPXs so I need to buy a new case. Is the Xs the same form factor as the X? Can I go buy any X case & expect it to fit the Xs?

Not all cases will work, the phones have different holes for the speakers.... Ones with open bottoms might.

I don't think that makes a difference since there's less holes in the new phone. If it was the other way around then that would make sense. Any case that works for the X will work for the XS

I suppose, not sure I’d want a case with holes that were not needed. But I guess it’s an option for those okay with it.

The extra (now missing) holes were useless before anyhow. They were just there for symmetry.
