This I am sure is a stupid question, but are those posting here about the new OS in the Developer programme, or the more general Appleseed programme? Every time I log it I get the same "we'll send you an email" screen. Can someone clarify for me whether they are getting the software as an ordinary member of the public or as a developer?

    Many thanks...

It's 3 programs. Developer and AppleSeed are open. There is going to be a Public Beta program. Is this what you signed up for? If so it may be a little while.

iCloud/iCloud Drive is not ready for prime time. People in the Public Beta will be left with no support. With a million people there are bound to be 100,000 data loss/no backup stories.

Neither, as iOS has so many new ties to OS X to test this release they decided to give iOS developers access too I guess, so Yosemite is part of iOS developer programme.
