Apple opened this up to third parties but the only company that took advantage is Ecobee and that’s a thermostat with a tiny built in speaker. It still requires a HomePod to work.

Shame. This could’ve been great.

I was hoping someone in the Homebridge community would jump on this opportunity, but alas… 🤷‍♂️

Late reply. The Denon Home smart speakers (150, 250 etc) now support Siri voice control. But you do need a HomePod somewhere in your HomeKit home for it to work as the commands get forwarded for processing on an Apple device. I would like someday for this to be an Apple TV but doesn't look like it yet even with iOS 18.
