Hey everyone !!! I was just wondering is there a big speed different between the core duo Mac Mini and the core 2 duo. I was thinking about getting a Core Duo to save some cash. Is it the best way to go? for now because I have a feeling Apple is going to be releasing a new Mini mac pro/Mid-size tower in January when the next "Mac" only event is.

It is about 10%. Look at my post here: http://www.123macmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20069 at the bottom are two links directly comparing CD and C2D machines.

Also a CD machine can only have 2GB of RAM installed, a C2D can have up to 3.3GB of usable RAM if you install 4GB.
