Is there a character counting hack for SMS?

    Is there something I can install that tells you how many characters you have typed in SMS's so you dont accidently send two texts? Thanks.

    iSMS u can download it through installer.

    Thanks for that, but is there a hack that just ads support on the current SMS application from apple? Thanks.

    not with the current firmware. (1.1.3)

    maybe in the near distant future....

    Thanks guys. I would probably have to say that since getting my iPhone, this is probably the worst thing about it. It's an awesome phone but this takes the cake for being the worst thing about it. Shame really.

    iPhone sux without jailbreaking and using 3rd party applications..

    Its all 3rd party application that helps it to be a better phone..
    webclip.. moving icons.. google map locator.. sideway scrolling in springboard.. its ALL developed by 3rd party application, and apple just copy it back to their new firmware.......

    Not to mention it still doesnt support theme in a jailed phone :p

    Since i got an iPhone and unlocked it (i live in Australia) there have been some great "hacks" (I won't say apps because I am yet to come across a great one) to fix some of the issues you get with unlocking your iPhone. I might also add that it was Apple that thought of the 'Sideway scrolling in springboard'.
