Nothing firm. Just rumors that it will launch in the first week of November :/
No date yet, although rumors speculate the release date to be during first week of November.
One particular retailer I work for is receiving stock on October 28th, so first week of November is a lock.
After reading the newest story on MR.com I think the iPad Pro will not be released until mid November. Tim Cook easily could have announced preorders for it starting October 30th or Nov 2-3.

Unfortunately I think you're right. Maybe that means they are having manufacturing/supply chain issues?
I think my last post was off.
My intuition is telling me that November 6th will be the day it's released, with November 2nd as preorder date. I don't work for Apple nor do I have a solid source... But those dates just make sense.

It doesn't appear that the Mac or iPad even came up during the conversation, so it would have been odd for Cook to just throw that in there. If iPad was discussed and there was nothing mentioned that would have been a red flag for a later release.

Yeah, don't mention it if there's any chance it could be traced to you as we wouldn't want you to get in trouble. Otherwise ,tell us so we don't think your a lying, no good, scoundrel.

I am hoping release date does not come until the holiday extended return period so I can rock this thing even longer to put it through its paces.

I feel like this happens every launch. I think it's time for a new operations team at Apple.
That would be the German release date, assuming that was a true and honest post.
The USA date would be sooner, probably the week before.
Are they doing the Q4 financial call next tuesday? Maybe they'll make a small announcement then about preorder/launch dates?
Hope for the best, plan for the worst.
That they announced the TV and not the iPad is a bit discouraging, I must say.
