LogicBoards pretty much look the same. Screen resolution is the same on both the 12" and 14" iBook.
But: the battery-connector is kind of a problem, when it comes to swapping boards between the 12 and 14" models ... :(
Got these pictures from iFixit.

The logic boards are different sizes and unlikely to line up.

The optical drives, hard drive, RAM and some internal cabling will fit. The display data cable, LCD inverter and DC-in boards should also match up.

The AirPort Extreme card and possibly the keyboard will also be compatible.

Like others have said, all the standardized parts like Drives, RAM, etc. will work. Too bad about the logic board though. I wonder why the 14 inch boards are more common than the 12 inch ones.

I can personally vouch that the 12" and 14" keyboards are cross-compatible :)

Did you manage to cross-replace a board? I mean, how did it work out with the battery-connector?
The rest of the board looks pretty much the same - size should be the same as well, since there's some spare place around the board in the 14" models, while within the 12" iBook the logicboard fits in pretty tight.

Oh no, I did not mean that I replaced the logic board. I had a 14" iBook at our workshop to bring it back to life and the keyboard was an absolutely disgusting mess (I cleaned it and it looks great in the end) so I temporarily replaced it with my iBook 12" keyboard and it worked fine.

i mainly just needed to knwo if the logic boards are cross compatible becuase i have an iBook that needs some fixin

Stupid me, sorry! I did completely failed to see you mentioning only the keyboard!

On a second look, boards do have a few more differences (marked in lilac color). @AphoticD is right: the 14" board certainly won't fit the 12" iBook ...
