Is there a difference in the vibration sensation between SS and Al?

Assuming both are 42mm and the settings are all identical, is there any difference in the vibration sensation?

I don't notice any difference on my 1st gens. Although my aluminum is a 38mm and my SS is a 42mm.

I've gone from SS to aluminium and reckon the latter is slightly more prominent.

The steel taptic is sharper and shallower, aluminium taptic is more soft-longthrow. Probably due to the inertia of the steel being higher and providing a more stable base.
