Is there a dongle that boots up the Apple TV?

I thought I had not updated the apple tv but I had....

So.. I want to jailbreak the apple tv2 but its really tethered and I pretty much loose power daily. Meaning that if my wife wants to watch tv, she will not be able to unless I reboot it. Besides, its really annoying...

Is there a dongle that actually performs the necessary boot process that I can connect on the usb port?
