Is there a FREE Winzip available ?

    You don't need to install anything. Simply double-click a .zip file to open it with the Archive Utility that comes with Mac OS X. You can also use StuffIt Expander or UnRarX, to name just a couple free apps.

    Oops !!

    I'm trying to open a zipx file. Is there a FREE way to do this?

    The Unarchiver can do that.
