Do you mean .zip or .izip file?
Have you tried The Unarchiver or iZIP yet?

You don't need to install anything. Simply double-click a .zip file to open it with the Archive Utility that comes with Mac OS X. You can also use StuffIt Expander or UnRarX, to name just a couple free apps.
