that runs on your own computer?

The only people I trust with my online finances would be my bank. So I am looking for something that functions similar to mvelopes but isn't online only.

    Ideas?

I am going to download and play with Squirrel (found by searching forums). I do have Office 07 so I could always try playing with Excel as well.

OK, found something called Budget http://www.snowmintcs.com/products/budgetmac/index.php

    Anyone use that?

Budget and Moneywell are currently the only fully usable ones on Mac. Moneywell is the more modern of the two. www.nothirst.com I think.

I will have to try money well.... that looks interesting if a bit on the pricey side... but it beats paying monthly

You can try Piggybudget http://piggybudget.pagegoblin.com. It is not exactly mvelopes but close enough and it is in Java so should run fine on Mac. Also it is freeware.
