Is there a mysterious button on my iphone?

Under Activator, it has options for "Sleep button" and "Headset button". Um, Am I missing something, because I thought those were the same button at the top of my iPhone..

Headset button is exactly what it sounds like... the button on the included or a compatible aftermarket headset that is plugged into the port at the top of the phone.
