I doubt we will see any new AEBS until the new AC wifi standard is ratified...As to how long that will be is anybody's guess...If you need one now, I'd pick one up.

I read some rumors about a new Airport on WWDC.

New Airport Express: Part number MC414, described as "K31 Best" in the inventory, appears to have a price tag of about $119, which experts believe is the price for a new AirPort Express Wi-Fi device. There's also a slight possibility this could be a new Time Capsule base station, which would likely include a capacity upgrade, but most believe this product is an AirPort Express.Estimated price: $119.

If that rumour is true, then it will no doubt be upgradeable to the new standard whereas the older stuff (Like mine) won't..:)

Maybe it will support 802.11ac? I would love to purchase one if it was integrated into the Time Capsule, with an addition of a thunderbolt port.

ASUS has already shown off an ac laptop and router this past week. Apple, usually near the lead on these things, shouldn't be far behind.

Apple released 802.11n a long time before it was ratified. They were one of the first to market with it.
